Small Farmers:
- For a Small Farmer land holdings should be restricted to 2.5 acres in Wet land or 5
Acres in Dry land.
- If a Farmer possesses land holdings in both Wet and Dry type, deduct the
occupied Wet land from the maximum land of 2.5 acres and then multiply the
remaining area by 2. Then the area obtained should be less than 5 acres.
Marginal Farmers:
- For a Marginal farmer, land holdings should be restricted to 1.25 acres of Wet land
or 2.5 Acres of Dry land.
- If a Farmer possesses land holdings in both Wet and Dry type, deduct the
occupied wet land from the maximum land of 1.25 acres and then multiply the
area by 2 and the area obtained should be less than 2.5 acres.
Table for small farmer calculation when both Wet and Dry lands are available:

If a farmer has Wet land for the area in the 1st cell, he should have Dry land for the area
equal to or less than the 3rd cell in the table.
