North East Monsoon

  1. Visitof Zonal teams and Firka level team in all the vulnerable places.
  2. Desiltingof the tank in vulnerable areas.
  3. Checking the functioning of early warning system in coastal areas.
    1. Good condition of cyclone shelters, multipurpose evacuation shelters and other temporary
  4. Basic amenities in all shelters.
  5. Availability of essential medicine which is kept by Health Department and Veterinary Department.
  6. Availability of sand bags and casuarinas poles which are stocked by the PWD (WRD) Department Highways Department and Local bodies.
  7. Inventories maintained by Local bodies and Highways department PWD (WRD)

Department Fire and Rescue Department.

  1. Availabilityof Gensets, boats, Ambulance.
  2. Conduct of mock drills by the Fire and Rescue Department in Vulnerable Places.
  3. Removal of encroachment on the water bodies.
  4. Enrolment of farmers in Fasal Bhima Yojana scheme.
  5. Removal of blockages under all culverts and bridges.

Firka Level Supervisory Teams

Area Supervisory Teams have been formed at Firka Level headed by the Tahsildar cadre Officers and they perform duties as mentioned in the Zonal team.
