government employment.

Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a widow.
- Monthly income should not exceed Rs.4000.
- Must not have an earning male child above 18 years of age.
- There should be no assets in the name of the applicant or in the name of the
applicant's husband.
- Should be financially destitute.
Documents to be uploaded on the website:
- Death certificate of husband
- Legal heir Certificate / no re-marriage certificate
- Income certificate/ Widow Certificate
- Aadhaar / Smart Card
- Village Administrative Officer’s Certificate of no assets
- Applicant’s Photo

Competent Authority:
This certificate is issued online by the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer.
Aspects to be observed by Tahsildar during inspection:
- Does the petitioner have financial support from her maternal/ paternal family? Is
there financial support from petitioner's husband's family?
- Scrutiny of petitioner's bank account statement
- Details of occupancy of the house in which the petitioner resides
- Circumstances in which the petitioner goes about her day-to-day life
